01 / The challenge

The pressure is real.
The response can be connected.

Delivery outcomes, emerging risks and regulatory demands put different pressures on organisations. Each needs its own assessment, supported by a shared picture.

Governance[1]
50%

of projects received mixed or failure ratings in a global project success survey.

37% had mixed results. 13% were rated failures.

Keep decisions connected to delivery.

Unclear ownership, scattered information and disconnected reviews can leave decision-makers without the context they need.

The Nerivos approach

Connect business purpose, accountable owners, review activities and the recorded basis for each decision.

Project Management Institute, 2025. Project outcomes measured through respondents’ perceptions of value.

Risk[2]
87%

of respondents identified AI-related vulnerabilities as the fastest-growing cyber risk during 2025.

Global Cybersecurity Outlook 2026.

Make emerging risks visible.

New technology introduces questions about exposure, safeguards and accountability. Those questions need a defined owner and evidence.

The Nerivos approach

Assess individual risks in context, examine implemented controls and connect treatment work with responsible people.

World Economic Forum and Accenture, 2026. A cybersecurity perception survey.

Compliance[3]
85%

of respondents said compliance requirements had become more complex over the preceding three years.

1,802 executives across 63 territories.

Turn requirements into reviewable work.

Adopted obligations need to be understood, assigned and examined. A stored policy alone leaves that work unresolved.

The Nerivos approach

Connect adopted requirements to contextual questions, findings, supporting evidence and follow-up actions.

PwC Global Compliance Survey, 2025. Respondent perceptions of compliance complexity.

These independent studies describe different populations and measures. They establish the context for the challenges shown here. They do not measure Nerivos outcomes.

02 / AI mode

AI assistance for the work
behind every decision.

Move from source material to a structured starting point. Use AI mode to help interpret information, surface gaps and draft material, with review and decision-making built into the approach.

AI proposes. People review,
verify and authorise.

03 / The approach

Build the conditions
for successful delivery.

Bring the purpose, evidence and responsible people into the same context. AI assistance supports preparation and analysis. Guided methods give the work structure.

Follow an example
01

Establish what success means.

Record the business need, intended outcomes and assessment scope so the work starts with a shared purpose.

02

Challenge assumptions early.

Use contextual questions and AI-assisted preparation to identify gaps and bring relevant issues to specialist review.

03

Give decisions a clear basis.

Connect findings, individual risks and implemented controls to evidence, rationale and the responsible decision-maker.

04

Keep follow-through visible.

Connect actions and conditions to owners. Revisit affected assessments when the information changes.

04 / In practice

One proposal.
A connected path forward.

Explore a technology proposal from initial context to a scoped decision. Select a stage to see where guided work and AI assistance fit.

Illustrative example / technology proposal

Start with the business need.

Record the proposal, its owner and intended outcome. Define the scope so the assessment addresses the relevant questions.

Where AI mode helps

Prepare a contextual starting point.

Propose a structured description from authorised source material for the owner to review.

Practical questions

Clarity from
the outset.

How do guided mode and AI mode work together?

Guided mode uses configured questions, methods and rules to structure the work. AI mode adds assistance with interpreting authorised information, identifying gaps and preparing draft content. People review proposed content and remain responsible for professional judgements and formal decisions.

Can we use Nerivos without generative AI?

Yes. Core guided assessment is designed to work independently of generative AI. Your organisation can use the configured approach and human contributions, with AI assistance as a separate mode.

Does AI mode approve an assessment or accept a risk?

AI-generated material is proposed content for review. Verification, risk acceptance, exceptions and progression approval remain separately scoped activities for appropriately authorised people.

Can it reflect our organisation’s approach?

Nerivos supports organisation-defined assessment types, questions, methods, lifecycles and processes. Reusable library content provides a starting point. Your organisation determines its adopted requirements, evaluation criteria and decision authority.

What do the research figures tell us?

The figures illustrate external delivery, cyber risk and compliance challenges. Each study has its own population and method. They do not establish that a particular governance issue caused a project outcome, or that Nerivos delivers a measured improvement in success rates. Source details are provided below.

Evidence behind the numbers

Project Management Institute (2025), Step Up: Redefining the Path to Project Success with M.O.R.E. ↗Figure 1, Calculating Net Project Success Score. 2025 survey: 5,842 respondents. The highlighted 50% combines 37% mixed outcomes and 13% failures. Success reflects respondents’ assessment of value relative to effort and expense. Project outcomes are a wider delivery measure.
